All flat roofs need tlc time to time, depending on the circumstenses. We recommend annual inspections for medium to large scale roofs.

Only thing that is concerning about a flat roof is the accumulation of the snow, ice and the current flow rate of the drains. Frozen and/or clogged drains are likely to cause roof leaks and property damage.

It is highly recommended that all drains are free of dirt and debris prior to winter. Being proactive with maintenance can save thousands of dollars in preventable leaks caused by stress. When we look at a pitched roof, majority of the roof is visible from ground level and does not require climbing unless a small leak that is not visible. Flat roofs have zero visibility from ground level unless you climb up there.
